the point of view is fantastic with this special cloud formation and its contrast. nice one!

This image creates a certain discomfort. It's a sort of anti-landscape view. The steps lead towards an empty place, like a view point from where we could see a valley, a beach, the sea... The top of the hill acts as an artificial horizon line (the real one, not visible, is much farther away, into which the clouds vanish).

fancy steps and retaining wall leading to...what? an excellent shot; certainly makes you wonder!

I agree with Antonio about the subject. But I also like the different textures in the stone, the grass, the clouds. (And the black and white processing is superb. Sharp and not muddy like so many black and white photos end up looking.)

wonderful range of tone & texture. Looks like steps to heaven!!

This one is great, Rhys! Steps into the sky or is it the sky coming down. Another minimalistic treasure, my friend. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

gorgeous, and unreal. it looks like newly made ancient ruins.

I love steps to nowhere. I also like the point of view here and how the clouds appear to be on the ground, adding a disconcerting feel.

wonderful and odd - a place for clouds to rest - great shot.
